Meet the team

Jane joined the charity in January 2018. Jane’s career has been focused on leading charities who support people with disabilities, and she has a passion for person centred support that helps people become full citizens and maximise their potential.

Prior to her time with InFocus Jane was chief executive of Shared Lives South West for 14 years. This is a Devon based regional charity supporting adults with learning difficulties, complex needs and sensory impairment in a unique family based model. Jane was also the Deputy Chief Executive of the national Alzheimer’s Society from 1995 to 2004, and a national director with Rethink from 1989 to 1995. Jane is a psychologist by training and has an MA in Equality and Diversity. Jane is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
