For parents
Ofsted provides a platform for parents to give their views about their child’s school and college, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
This platform is called Parent View. The survey can be completed at any time; parents don’t have to wait until an Ofsted inspection.
InFocus would like to encourage our parents of children in the School or College to give their views to Ofsted.

What do Ofsted inspect?
When it comes to inspecting the support for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a local area, Ofsted and the CQC are particularly interested in how well their needs are identified and whether this process is done accurately and quickly.
Furthermore, they look at how students and their families get involved in decisions about their support as well as whether they receive the appropriate amount of help at the right time.
Overall these inspections offer useful feedback for local authorities and health bodies to ensure they are delivering fair access to suitable services and providing SEND children with access to meaningful outcomes.
They examine closely how confidential information is collected, stored, shared and analysed and if all of those involved have an understanding of what SEND provisions to expect locally. This includes identifying any barriers preventing individuals from taking full advantage of existing services or schemes that could help them enjoy a better quality of life.
