Honiton charity shop volunteer, Gareth Richards, this week celebrates a fantastic 15 years at InFocus.

Gareth started with us in 2008 and over the years has gone above and beyond with his support. Not only does he volunteer at the shop, but he also helps with events, takes on sponsorship challenges and hosts an annual skittles evening – helping to raise £1000’s over the years.

Commenting on his achievement, Gareth said: “Volunteering at the InFocus Charity Shop has had a massive impact on my life – it has given me so much confidence to work behind the till and give excellent customer service. To be there for 15 years is a massive milestone”.

Andrew Roberts, Head of Employability and Enterprise also commented: We are so grateful to Gareth for his support and contributions to InFocus over the past 15 years that helps support the young people at InFocus”.

Our volunteers are invaluable at InFocus. With their support, we’re able to run our charity shops, maintain our 13-acre site in Exeter and 10-acre Outdoor Learning Centre at West Hill, help shape the charity as trustees, and so much more.
