Last week, Jigsaw – our Adult Day Care Services – marked its 10-year anniversary in style. Supporters, parents, carers, staff, and of course the wonderful young adults we support all came together for a joyful celebration filled with games, cake, and plenty of merriment.

A decade ago, Jigsaw began with little more than a space, a few dedicated staff members, and a small group of young adults. Thanks to visionary leadership and unwavering commitment, it has grown into a thriving community where 16 young adults with vision impairment and complex needs can enjoy meaningful activities, Monday to Friday.

Of course, the work isn’t always easy. Due to the nature of complex needs, staff are often faced with medical challenges that require expertise, calm, and quick responses.

Community Services Manager, Shelley Mathews, said:
