On a sunlit morning at the end of August, members of the InFocus staff and their families arrived at West Point dressed in their running gear, (mostly) raring to be unleashed on the inflatable course. There was a wonderful, buzzy atmosphere as people from across the city set out on obstacle-filled run.

Despite the rising temperature, they took on the challenge with enthusiasm and brilliant team spirit, as they supported each other. Many staff who don’t usually cross paths at work, were able to push themselves on the course together and chat along the way! The team cheered each other on as runners hurtled down the slide at the final obstacle and triumphantly cross the finishing line.

It was lovely to also have runners from Coastal Recycling, our corporate partner, to support us – thank you to everyone!

The team did an amazing job with their fundraising efforts, in total they raised £3147.50, which is much needed money for specialist equipment, activities and essential building repairs, that all help make the wow moments happen.

Thank you to every participant for their fundraising, dedication, and support. We’re so grateful for the time and effort they’ve given on top of their day-jobs to make that extra difference.
